About This Spot

Arriving at Lawrencetown Beach Cafe feels like stepping into a quietly welcoming retreat just steps from the Atlantic’s edge. This is a place where the pace slows down—not hurried or flashy, but comfortably unpretentious. The cozy interior embraces you with a warmth that’s both literal and intangible, a soft refuge from the brisk seaside air. Salt-kissed breezes drift in as you settle in with a cup of deeply satisfying coffee, their handmade syrups layering gentle sweetness over rich espresso notes.

The atmosphere here is uncontrived and familiar, marked by small yet thoughtful details that invite lingered moments. Whether the sky shrouds the beach in mist or it’s bathed in sunlight, the view frames each visit like a quiet reminder of where you are. Food and drink here feel homemade and heartfelt—comforting soups that hint at home-cooked care, breads and sandwiches that satisfy without fanfare, alongside an unmistakable openness to dietary needs and preferences that makes everyone feel at ease.

A gentle sense of community weaves through the space. The hosts—a reflection of the town’s friendly spirit—offer a kind of trust and warmth that enriches each visit. Beyond the café tucked adjacent to a boutique filled with handcrafted local art, there’s a woven connection between place, people, and craft. Absolutely dreamy and incredibly cosy spot on the beach. We visited on a foggy day so not much view but the warm home made Moroccan chicken lentil soup made up for it! Visit the boutique next room for some vintage artsy details and crafts from local artists. The hosts were fantastic and helped with recommendations.

Really cheap and delicious food, highly recommend the grilled cheese! Lovely selection of gifts old and new, we could have easily bought more! Fantastic views too

Lawrencetown Beach Cafe is the best place to stop along the Eastern Shore for local groceries, coffee, baked goods, etc. This isn't your typical small town cafe - they have something for everyone (milk alternatives, gluten free, vegan, etc.) Plus - homemade/handmade coffee syrups! The owners are absolute gems - the kind of trusting, down to earth people you just don't see anymore - and the staff are the same. Don't drive by! You won't be sorry you stopped.

What a cute little spot situated at the top of a hill/cliff right along Lawrencetown Beach! Stopped in for a quick coffee and bite on a little cruise through the area. Had a fantastic drip coffee, with just a spoon of raw sugar. It was a perfect pick me up for along the way! The Anytime Sandwich was great! With a house made English muffin to hold all the deliciousness together, it hit the spot for my morning hunger. You can sit in and see the views right from the dining area. Or you can pop outside and watch for surfers from the cliffs edge. I put my drone up for a quick shot or two, but it was quite windy. Highly recommend! Clean plate club obviously!!

One of my all time favourite cafes. The vibes are so cozy, and you can see the ocean out the windows I always order the anytime sandwich and I’m never disappointed. The drinks and desserts are also incredible, and the workers are so nice it’s also a completely nut-free kitchen!

So glad we stopped at this coffee/lunch/gallery! Food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. The gallery had so many beautiful, local items. Bonus of the view from the parking area!
